Vinted Members Share Frustration Over Sizing Modifications
Members of the platform have expressed outrage following a change that caused items being listed as the wrong size.
The second-hand shopping app has altered its measurement guidelines for women's and children's clothes failing to inform all users about the change.

Countless users and merchants have taken to social media claiming that product pages now present an altered size classification than originally posted because of the remapping.
The company said the updated approach better aligns with similar services.
The platform has recommended to check their listings and adjust the sizing manually if necessary, resulting in member annoyance.
Sizing System Changes
Previously, the sizing featured numerical and alphabetical indicators, such as S/8 or M/10.
The new system has a letter and a range for example S/UK 8-10.
With some products, the measurements have been reclassified - for example a size L was previously a 12 but now shows as UK 16-18.

A fashion influencer, who produces content about larger sizing, explained the modification "makes transactions more difficult".
"Few clothing companies classify XL as 20-22," which is what Vinted now does.
A different member, based in Glasgow, explained products she uploaded featuring size 14 markings were displaying on the service as size 20–22.
"Should someone sized 20-22 purchase these they're going to be very disappointed," she stated.
Necessary Adjustments
A different user, based in Derby, explained she became annoyed by the change as she had to manually change the sizes on "every single listing".
"This situation is especially annoying, since I have chronic health issues and Vinted sales have been crucial for me since losing part of my income," she said.
Service Background
The service features exceeding 100 million users, with 18 million British users.
It has proved a popular alternative to second-hand platforms like eBay and Depop.
This represents another occasion when a surprising modification to the app has proved unpopular: earlier, Vinted reversed a change to its shipping options after backlash from users.
